About the Course
Looking to get into the trades? Need extra help to pass the math portion of the test? This course provides both the test preparation and practical application for finding success as a working tradesperson. Students build a strong theoretical foundation and strengthen math skill sets in their specific field of trade. This course is broken down in two parts:
Part 1 Arithmetic and Algebraic Fluency.
This course is designed to prepare students to pass local union apprenticeship exams.

Refund Policy: All requests for refunds must be in writing (email accepted). Class fees will NOT be refunded for any reason if the written request is less than two (2) business days BEFORE the start of class. Refund requests incur a $25 service charge per class. If a class is canceled by WCCAE for any reason, a full refund will be automatically made. Refunds are not provided for textbooks, materials, and/or manuals associated with the class.

Michelle is a Forest Archaeologist with over 20 years of experience as a math instructor. She has taught at the elementary, middle, high and adult education levels in Oakland, California. Michelle specializes in building tailored math curriculum for populations with gaps in their learning. She is Spanish bilingual, has a daughter in college and loves to swim
