About the Course
This course provides an overview of coverage & options for people who are within a few months of starting Medicare. Specifically, attendees will get: Detailed information on Medicare including eligibility, enrollment, costs, and benefits; Information on various options for supplementing Medicare such as Medicare Supplemental Plans (Medigap) and Medicare Advantage Plans; Information on Medicare's prescription drug benefit and how to choose the optimal plan; Brief overview of how employer, retiree or other insurance works with Medicare, such as retiree plans, COBRA, or the VA.
